Clueless Out August 9th!

Hi world!

It’s been a blazing hot July here in Nashville, but it won’t stop me from jumping up and down with excitement over my latest announcement.

My new single Clueless is coming out on August 9th!

This song has been a long time coming. I wrote this as a 22 year old just trying to figure out dating. Funny enough, I’m now 26 and I still have no clue what I’m doing.

“Clueless” is my take on what it’s like to be single in the age of dating apps. As the title implies, I can be very clueless when it comes to love, especially as an over-thinker by nature. Everyone was giving me contradictory advice on the do’s and don'ts of dating. Don’t come across too interested. Don’t be intimidating. Make a move. Don’t make a move. If they don’t follow your Instagram that’s a red flag. Dating apps are bad. Dating apps are good. The ball is in their court. The ball is in your court. I don’t even know where the damn ball is even located half of the time. I finally worked myself into such a confusion the only way I knew how to make sense of it was to put it in a song. I love how tongue and cheek the lyrics are because sometimes I don’t know whether to laugh or to cry when I talk about dating in today’s world, but I always try to find a good mixture of humor and sincerity. At my shows, I've found it’s apparently a very relatable topic so, I guess we’re all a little clueless when it comes to love and that’s okay.

So this one goes out to all the hopeless romantics out there just trying to figure it out.
